Public Works

Overview

Public Works (PW) is a department of the City of Victor. It serves a city population of approximately 400 citizens and provides water services to an additional 100 households in unincorporated Teller County.

Working in partnership with our citizens, PW professionals are dedicated to providing high quality services with integrity, creativity, and excellence.

The Public Works Department is dedicated to maintaining and improving the City’s most critical infrastructure to insure the safety and quality of life of its citizens.

Public Works is comprised of four operating sections:

  1. Water Utility Services:  Manages operations and maintains the city’s water supply and distribution system, providing high quality water at the lowest possible cost.
  2. Wastewater Management Services:  Maintains, operates and repairs the sewer and storm drainage systems to provide a safe and clean environment for our community.
  3. Right-Of-Way Maintenance:  Maintains streets, sidewalks, trees, and traffic signs to promote safe and effective thoroughfares, while enhancing the beauty of our community.
  4. Fleet Management:  Services and maintains city vehicles and equipment, while managing purchases and replacement.
